The following responses have been compiled to assist MADCA to benefit members of Mapleton community and surrounding areas.
The committee may be able to:

Improvement and Development:

Existing MADCA initiatives:
1 To support and develop the establishment of the Mapleton Markets and to encourage a market atmosphere to be incorporated into events being planned for the “Festival of Walks” in September , 2009.
2 To be involved in the development of Retirement Living in Mapleton .
3 To be involved in the upgrade and development of public parking in the Mapleton Village.
4 To ensure that a future plan is put in place by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council for the continued development and maintenance of the redeveloped Lilyponds in Mapleton.
5 To improve mobile telephone reception in Mapleton and surrounding areas.
These initiatives were ratified at the general meeting of members on 3 November, 2008.
6 To move to have the upgrade of the Mapleton-Nambour Road from Willandra Place to the Mapleton Village brought forward from the proposed commencement date of 2010-2011/ 2012-2013 [ Allocated funding $ 2.8 million ]
