To provide a forum for the residents and ratepayers of Mapleton and surrounding areas to express their opinions on any matter affecting the community. |

To act in the interests of residents and ratepayers in dealing with various levels of government , other parties or organizations. |

To foster the balanced development of Mapleton and surrounding areas. |
| 4 |
To promote the social , cultural , sporting and economic welfare of the community. |

To be non-political and non-sectarian. |
