At Mapleton we celebrate each new season with a vibrant community market, showcasing the diverse talents, goods and services created in our wonderful mountain village.

This web site is also the home of the Mapleton and District Community Association Inc. (MADCA Inc.) and a community web site for Mapleton.

At Mapleton in Queensland's Sunshine Coast Hinterland, we host  a market to promote community, local business, tourism and showcase our diverse local talents.  This community event is another initiative of the Mapleton and District Community Association Inc. (MADCA).

Our point of difference? To have a stall you must have a connection to the Blackall Range. You must live or work here, or make or grow your product here. No second hand, no smorgasboard of imported stuff! Come and experience the wonderful community energy.

Help create the future of our community  - become involved in the MAPLETON MARKET. Invite your friends.  Contribute your ideas at the Mapleton Forum page or share your market experience in the Guest Book.

Our goal is to evolve into a seasonal festival with market stalls and learning opportunities galore.

The Mapleton State School is hosting the sausage sizzle at our August 29th Market.  Make sure you sample a sausage as they retain 100% of the sizzle sales!

Visit our community tent where local groups promote their cause.  As our market develops, surplus funds will be funnelled back into the community via an application process through MADCA Inc.   Our market organisers are all volunteers.

Dare to discover  the wonderful local cafes and shops.

To give you that extra nudge to explore, we deliberately have no fast food or drink stalls at the market unless it is a unique Blackall Range product.
